David has been married for over 30 years (the majority of them happy!) to the love of his life; and they have one daughter and one son, each in their mid 20's. He says the relationship with them is deepening and growing richer as each year goes by. David has lived in the Dallas area for over 10 years, though he grew up in St. Louis, and has lived in numerous other cities during his career: Raleigh, Kansas City, and St. Joseph to name just three.
The first part of David's successful career was as an owner of his own pharmacy, then working for a pharmaceutical company in roles such as salesperson, trainer, marketer, new product planner, and national sales director. He knows the corporate world: how to be successful in it and the stress and problems that can come from it. For the past several years David has been studying to be a counselor and has now left the corporate world to pursue full time his next vocation and passion: counseling.
If you know what you want, David will work with you to achieve that goal–and if you want to grow or change and are not sure what that new goal is, he can help you sort that out also. Through his own therapy several times in his life, David came to believe that we are not victims of our past–we can choose to build upon the past or build in a new direction. By being brave, we can move in directions that bring joy into our lives. David enjoys going to Fry's with his son, having a cup of coffee with his daughter at Starbucks, and "all kinds of stuff" with his wife.
