Ashley Thomas

Ashley was born in Lafayette, Louisiana where she lived until the age of nine when she moved to Dallas with her mother. It is through her parents' divorce when she was five that she developed her passion for working with families. Ashley has worked at Child Protective Services helping her to further understand complex family dynamics. She loves helping parents and children find solutions.
Ashley graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and Family Studies, with a minor in psychology. She loves watching sports, especially Texas Tech football. Currently, she is completing her Master's Degree in Social Work from Baylor University in Waco, Texas where she is an honor student.
After beginning college, Ashley soon realized her true passion to be counseling. She chose to pursue social work as her degree program. She feels it provides a holistic and humanistic way of approaching therapy by looking at each person's biological, psychological, social, and spiritual self.
